Ranbir down with typhoid

The Times Of India
Saturday, April 14, 2018

Ranbir Kapoor may have two big films on hand — Rajkumar Hirani's untitled film based on Sanjay Dutt's life and Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra — but the talented actor has been forced to take an unexpected break after being diagnosed with typhoid. Ranbir, who was shooting for Brahmastra in Bulgaria with Alia Bhatt, is now back in Mumbai after wrapping up the first schedule of the film. The film was earlier titled "Dragon" but renamed by its producer Karan Johar on Amitabh Bachchan's 75th birthday.

The fantasy adventure film is said to be a part of a trilogy and will only release in August next year.

Meanwhile, Ranbir is advised strict bed-rest and is recuperating at home. A source close to the actor said that he has been instructed to follow a special diet and stay away from any sort of strenuous exercise.
