Escott Shield: Navy thrashes QVSOB

Update: 6:00PM FIJI Navy defeated QVSOB 49-8 in the Escott shield challenge at Bidesi park this afternoon.

The naval team scored three tries to captain Jolame Bera, Lemeki Damu and Seveci Nasilisili with the successful conversion by Mosese Tikoduadua placing them in the lead 22-0 in the first half.

The Victorians were no match for the men in blue as they scored only one try to Joseph Vuirewa and the penalty kick by Vuairewa was successful in the second half.

Navy came in strong scoring four tries, three to Waisale Urabuta and Damu scored his second try and a successful conversion by Tikoduadua to seal the deal.
